INNOVATION, REVOLUTION, DISRUPTION
VERSUS NOVELTY
Startup founders, stop using the words "innovation", "revolutionary" or "disruptive" to qualify your solutions because these (buzz)words will blind you!
An innovation is defined by "a novelty that has spread into the Society" ie in a simple word, a business success. The term innovation contains the notion of success/accomplishment, therefore, using the term innovation to qualify your solution will lead you to believe that customers are firmly waiting for you as the fans of a pop star camping in front of a concert venue the day before the show.
If you use the term "novelty", it reminds you all the work you have to do to find your first customers!
Novelty + "Big Big Big Job to do" + some Luck = (maybe) Innovation
